FOUNDATION / MEDICAL SURGICAL LAB
Demonstration and return demonstration of all basic and advanced medical and surgical procedures are done here to make the students to become well verse in taking care of patients without hesitation like giving injections, dressing, tube feeding, checking BP, Bed making etc.
CHILD HEALTH NURSING LAB
Here students acquire necessary practical skills in assessing baby’s growth and development, taking care of baby’s with various disease conditions on NICU, PICU, Photo therapy,Naso-gastric tube feeding etc as per the pediatric curriculum.
COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING LAB
Lab deals with the procedure as per the curriculum for eg. Bag technique, Age-wise Physical / Health assessment, Anthropometric assessment, Street plays / Role plays, Puppets show/ Folk ways of health education, treatment for minor ailments etc.
MATERNITY NURSING LAB
Students are taught practically how to conduct delivery, care of new born immediately after deliver, management of emergencies during labour and health education for mothers, how to care a mother before and after delivery.
NUTRITION LAB
Here students are demonstrated how to cook different recopies for the sick and well, calculation of nutrients for each clients and Nutrition education on healthy diet.
COMPUTER LAB
Sophisticated computer lab includes minimum of 30 computers with internet facilities and a computer trainer for training the students.
ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY LAB
It contains various models, specimens, skeletons, bones of human body and charts, posters essential to teach and demonstrate students to learn actual structure and functions of body, which is very important in nursing field.
AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS LAB
Here arrangements are made to have sophisticated and modern way of teaching with all essential audio-visual aids like Over Head Projector (OHP),LCD Projector, Computer, Models, Charts, Posters, Flannel boards etc.
BIO-CHEMISTRY AND MICROBIOLOGY LAB:-
Lab is arranged with necessary equipments, models and specimens to provide demo and return demo of all procedures regarding Bio-Chemistry and Microbiology discipline to students.
